My name is Dave and the Backwoods Blog is the repository of my latest thoughts and philosophical meanderings. I live off-the-grid alongside the Meduxnekeag River in Monticello, Maine with my wife Linda and our two cats. My day job is minister of the Unitarian Society of Houlton and a part-time barista at The Cup Cafe which is in the basement of the church (and best of all) right next to my office. “The Isolation Blues” is a weekly blog that started during the early days of COVID-19 and I’ll keep it going until life returns to normal (whatever and whenever that is).
