early snow
According to the Farmer’s Almanac
early December is expected to be colder than normal
in the northeast with snows arriving mid-month.
While my wife swears by the almanac
I tend to remain a day-to-day pragmatist
and just take what comes.
This year the snows came even earlier
than the aforementioned forecasters predicted;
the unfinished chores dormant under a layer
of white insulation, an early closure
to the listing of noble ambitions.
